When the land meets the sea
The brief.
For this project, the client wanted a range of coastal photography from the Surf Coast that they could sell to customers from surrounding coastal towns. The client expressed that often people from these small coastal towns want imagery of their local area so they can frame it in their homes, and that this audience commonly are surfers, so there should be a focus on capturing the surf lifestyle.
The solution.
The project resulted in the creation of an aerial photography collection that was named ‘when the land meets the sea’. The collection places focus on capturing key areas of the Surf Coast landscape while engaging with the surf-based audience. It features a mixture of wide and birds-eye-view shots of the waves, coastal townships, and long stretches of beach, using the natural colours of the ocean and landscape to accentuate the Surf Coast’s beauty. The collection features locations such as the Great Ocean Road, Fairhaven, Barwon Heads, Breamlea, and 13th Beach.
